EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Mike Morrison was just the man the Edmonton Oilers wanted in goal when the game went to a shootout. Morrison stopped all three shooters to improve to 5-0 in shootouts, and Fernando Pisani scored the winner and had a goal and an assist in regulation to lead Edmonton past the Anaheim Mighty Ducks 6-5 on Monday night.
"You have to keep it simple and play big," Morrison said. "It was definitely a wild game."
Morrison stopped all eight shots he faced in regulation after replacing starter Jussi Markkanen in the third period. Markkanen allowed five goals on 32 shots.
