BALTIMORE (AP) - Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. posted a fourth-quarter loss on lower auto and political advertising spending, the broadcaster reported Wednesday.
Sinclair, the owner of 60 television stations that reach nearly a quarter of all U.S. households, said it lost one cent a share, or $717,000, in the quarter, versus a loss of 6 cents a share, or $5.1 million, in the fourth quarter a year earlier.
Total revenue fell to $178.8 million from $187.4 in the previous fourth quarter.
