HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Texans hired Johnny Holland to coach linebackers, John Benton as offensive line coach and Martin Bayless to be an assistant defensive backs coach on Wednesday.
Holland was most recently with the Detroit Lions and has also coached at Seattle and Green Bay. The former linebacker spent seven seasons with the Packers after a college career at Texas A&M.
Benton, a former offensive lineman at Colorado State, spent more than 10 years as a collegiate assistant before joining the St. Louis Rams staff in 2004.
