OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Rasual Butler made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 15 seconds remaining, and the short-handed New Orleans Hornets beat the Seattle SuperSonics 109-102 Wednesday night.
The Hornets lost both their point guards to injury during the game. Star rookie Chris Paul bruised his ribs and backup Speedy Claxton sustained a mild concussion, leaving Kirk Snyder to run the offense.
Snyder, a second-year player, responded with 16 points and 12 assists. Both were career highs, as were his 45 minutes played.
