Pearl Revives Tennessee Men's Basketball

(AP) - Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl and his players stunned fans when they walked upstairs to the concourse after the season opener and thanked them for coming.

With a packed arena for then-No. 2 Florida last month, the Volunteers began a new tradition of walking downstairs through the stands to high-five fans before their pre-game introductions.

With a month left to go in the regular season, Pearl's non-stop energy and showmanship has caught on in Knoxville. He even wore a bright orange blazer for Vanderbilt and Kentucky on Tuesday, both victories.
