NEW YORK (AP) - The dollar rose against the euro and the yen Tuesday as U.S. economic indicators rose sharply and the Federal Reserve minutes from the Jan. 31 meeting were released.
The 12-nation euro bought $1.1917, down from $1.1931 late Friday. The dollar also gained on the Japanese currency, rising to 118.70 from 118.16.
The British pound was higher, though, moving up to $1.7460 from $1.7405.
