LOS ANGELES (AP) - The box office went to the dogs as "Eight Below," a family tale of canines struggling to survive in Antarctica, took in $25 million to debut as the No. 1 movie over the long Presidents Day weekend.
The romantic-comedy spoof "Date Movie" opened in second place with $21.8 million.
