MILWAUKEE (AP) - Vince Carter scored 45 points, including New Jersey's final 14 to lead a late comeback, and Jason Kidd had a triple-double in the Nets' 89-85 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
Carter almost single-handedly erased a four-point deficit in the final 5 minutes, helping the Nets end a 10-game losing streak in Milwaukee. Kidd finished with 12 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds for his 71st career triple-double and third this season.
A steal and slam dunk by Carter drew the Nets to 81-80 with 2:05 remaining. But then he was called for a foul, and Joe Smith hit two free throws to put the Bucks ahead by three with 1:32 left.
