CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Former Murray State head coach Joe Pannunzio was hired Wednesday as tight ends and special teams coach by the Miami Hurricanes.
Pannunzio went 30-37 in six seasons at Murray State. He was fired after the Racers finished 2-9 in 2005, their worst season since 1992.
He was a college assistant from 1981-99, including jobs at Minnesota, Mississippi and Auburn.
