 ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Abbie Letz had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Dionne Marsh set two New Mexico free-throw shooting records in the No. 23 Lobos' 79-53 victory over Air Force on Wednesday night.
New Mexico (19-7, 9-4 Mountain West) won its 34th straight conference game at home with a combination of eight 3-pointers, the scoring and rebounding of Letz and Marsh's frequent trips to the foul line.
Marsh was 8-for-11 from the line and has hit 142 of 196 free throws this season — both school records. Marsh's free throws made broke the previous school mark of 136 set by Abby Garchek.
