LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading on Thursday. Gold rose.
The euro was quoted at $1.1920, up from $1.1888 Wednesday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.1917.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Wednesday, included 117.17 Japanese yen, down from 118.47; 1.3086 Swiss francs, down from 1.3135; and 1.1524 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1477.
