BOSTON (AP) - Pat Noonan will be sidelined for three to five weeks by a right hamstring injury, likely causing him to miss two games next month for the U.S. national team.
Noonan limped off the field in the 79th minute Wednesday night during the New England Revolution's 0-0 tie with Costa Rica's Alajuelense in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals, a game played in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Noonan was examined by team doctors Thursday, Revolution spokesman Brad Feldman said.
