HONG KONG (AP) - The U.S. test preparation provider Kaplan Inc. is expanding into Chinese-language teaching.
Kaplan announced late Thursday it has bought Hong Kong Putonghua Vocational School. Putonghua is also known as Mandarin, the common dialect in mainland China.
Kaplan, owned by Washington, D.C.-based The Washington Post Company, did not reveal the terms of the deal.
