DALLAS (AP) - The Memphis Grizzlies got off to a running start, seemingly intent to hand Dallas its first home loss in 2006.
"We came out trying to play our game, but they came out really focused," Mavericks guard Jason Terry said. "They had that look in their eyes like it was going to be their night. ... For a minute there, it looked like they were going to blow us out on our home court."
Memphis came out shooting and built a 19-point lead in the second quarter while Josh Howard was hobbling on a sprained right ankle for the Mavericks. Then, Dirk Nowitzki and Terry took over.
