WASHINGTON (AP) - Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SA saw its stock rise Friday, in its first day of trading as a public company.
The company's American depositary shares rose to close at $28.26 Friday on the New York Stock Exchange, up from the IPO price of $21 a share.
Grupo Aeroportuario priced 29 million shares at a price above its original official range of $18 to $20 a share. On Thursday, increased investor demand led underwriter Credit Suisse First Boston to market the offering at a higher $20 to $21 range.
