George Washington Tries to Run the Table

CINCINNATI (AP) - No one in the Atlantic 10 could touch No. 6 George Washington, which swept through the season unbeaten in conference play. Any reason to think things will be different in the conference tournament?

There are, of course, those handful of close calls along the way. And those give 11 teams hope of pulling off the upset, winning the conference's automatic NCAA tournament bid and joining the Colonials in the 65-team field.

"There ain't a whole lot of difference between the talent of my team and these teams," coach Karl Hobbs said, referring to the close calls. "That's what makes it so amazing, what these guys have accomplished."
