SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Andrei Kirilenko had eight blocks and eight assists to go with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and the Utah Jazz won consecutive games for the first time in nearly a month, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 96-93 Wednesday night.
Deron Williams tied his career high with 24 points and had a chance to seal the victory from the foul line with 6.2 seconds remaining, but went 1-for-2 and Minnesota still had a chance to force overtime.
But Trenton Hassell's off-balance shot was an airball that Kirilenko caught at the buzzer, giving the Jazz their first winning streak since beating Chicago on Feb. 6 and following that four days later with a victory at Minnesota.
