ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis Cardinals outfielder So Taguchi agreed to a one-year contract Friday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Taguchi hit .288 with eight homers and 53 RBIs in 2006, when he spent much of the season filling in for the injured Larry Walker. In four seasons with the Cardinals since coming over from Japan, Taguchi has hit .289 with 14 homers and 93 RBIs.
