NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Ask LSU about fellow No. 1 seed North Carolina, and you'd never know that the Tar Heels are also in town, preparing to play on the same floor.
Not that it matters in this NCAA tournament system the Tigers and Tar Heels are in different regionals and won't meet unless it's for the national championship in Boston on April 4. This is the only city featuring two of the four No. 1 seeds before the Final Four.
North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell, who hasn't been shy on her feelings about the loaded Cleveland regional her Tar Heels face, doesn't mind seeing the Tigers around.
