MADRID, Spain (AP) - The Spanish government will present a bill that aims to fight doping through out-of-competition testing and tougher sanctions, including prison sentences.
Deputy Prime Minister Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega announced the bill — which requires a reform of Spain's penal code and has to be passed by a majority in parliament — on Friday.
It is expected to be in force by September.
