 BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - Oliver Perez wouldn't mind being known as the last pitcher to beat Roger Clemens.
The Pittsburgh Pirates' left-hander returned to camp Saturday after spending most of this month with Mexico in the World Baseball Classic. He couldn't pitch Mexico into the semifinals, but he won't have any trouble remembering his only start in the inaugural Classic.
Mexico 2, United States 1. Winning pitcher: Oliver Perez. Losing pitcher: Roger Clemens.
