LONDON (AP) - Corus Group PLC shares rose more than 11 percent Tuesday on a report that the steelmaker has held talks about a possible merger with Evraz Group SA, Russia's largest steelmaker.
The two companies together would be one of the world's top six steelmakers by volume.
The Financial Times, which cited a person close to the discussions that it did not further identify, said the talks had so far not come to any result.
