WASHINGTON (AP) - Crude oil prices steadied Tuesday as traders weighed expectations of further U.S. oil inventory increases against anxieties over recent supply disruptions in Nigeria and the impact of international pressure on Iran over its nuclear program.
After declining for the past two trading sessions, light sweet crude for April delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 15 cents to settle and expire at $60.57 a barrel.
May Brent crude futures on London's ICE Futures gained 79 cents to settle at $62.13 a barrel.
