SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) - Ice Cube loves cars — especially his new red Mercedes. But that's not the only reason he's hosting Spike TV's AutoRox awards in Las Vegas.
Cube will also perform on the show, doing two new tracks from his upcoming album, "Laugh Now, Cry Later." The progam will be taped April 7 and broadcast on April 18.
"I thought it was a good opportunity to perform on TV and get the message out there," he said during a chat in his office at Cube Vision studios.
