BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - A truck crashed through a railroad crossing barrier and slammed into a passenger train Wednesday, causing a derailment and killing at least six people, officials said.
About two dozen people were injured in the 9 a.m. crash in the northern town of Ratchaburi, about 60 miles southwest of Bangkok.
The train, traveling from northern Malaysia to Bangkok, was carrying about 400 passengers, said Montakan Sriwilas, a spokeswoman for State Railways of Thailand.
