TOKYO (AP) - Hundreds of people were evacuated after a fire broke out Wednesday at a Tokyo theater, authorities said. Four people were injured.
The fire broke out in the basement of a large theater in central Tokyo, city Fire Department official Kosei Takahashi said.
About 1,400 people were evacuated from the theater and surrounding buildings as a precaution, he said. The injured included three employees who tried to put out the fire and a passer-by.
