WASHINGTON (AP) - Shares of Nextest Systems Corp. climbed Wednesday, in the semiconductor-test equipment maker's trading debut on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
Stock of the San Jose, Calif.-based company rose $3.10 to close at $17.10 a share, up from the initial public offering price of $14 a share.
Nextest sold 5.4 million shares of its stock to the public at the low end of its expected price range set by underwriters Merrill Lynch, Cowen & Co., and Needham & Co.
