CLEVELAND (AP) - Gerald Wallace was inactive for the Charlotte Bobcats' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night because of a sore left calf.
Wallace, averaging a team-best 15.0 points and a league-best 2.52 steals, reinjured his calf Tuesday night as he made a career-high 12 field goals in a 108-102 win over Orlando.
The fourth-year forward missed 15 games earlier this season with a similar injury, but had three double-doubles since returning Feb. 22. He sat out the Bobcats' game at Washington on March 15 with soreness in the calf, then scored 12 and 27 points in Charlotte's next two games, respectively.
