OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Jordan Farmar is enjoying UCLA's run to the regional semifinals, though the sophomore point guard acknowledged he came close to taking his game to the Pacific Northwest.
Were it not for his ties to Southern California, Farmar said he likely would be playing for Gonzaga and Bulldogs coach Mark Few.
"They were in my final three: them, UCLA and Florida," Farmar said Wednesday, a day before his Bruins meet Gonzaga in the semifinals of the Oakland Regional. "UCLA just took over because of what it is. But I was very close."
