BERLIN, Md. (AP) - A fire engulfed a large horse barn at Ocean Downs racetrack Wednesday, injuring a caretaker and killing one horse.
The fire damaged the 40-foot by 100-foot building, but firefighters were able to prevent it from spreading to other structures.
"It was pretty fast work," Ocean City Fire Chief Roger Steger said. "We got lucky."
