EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - Hop Sing won the $137,120 Four Leaf Clover final to set another stakes record Saturday night at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
The 5-year-old gelding paced the mile in 1:48 4-5, lowering the mark of 1:49 3-5 set by Maltese Artist last year. Hop Sing earlier won the Presidential at the Meadowlands in a stakes-record 1:48 3-5.
Driver Ron Pierce got his second straight win, and sixth overall, in the stakes for older pacers.
