Shooting in Texas Park Kills 1, Injures 6

MARSHALL, Texas (AP) - Gunfire broke out Sunday at a city park in east Texas, killing one person and injuring six, officials said.

Several of the people involved in the 2 p.m. shooting at Smith Park in Marshall had been in an ongoing feud, police said. It wasn't clear whether there was more than one shooter.

A murder warrant was issued late Sunday for James Earl Epps, 27, of Marshall, police spokesman Sgt. Leland J. Benoit said.
