BERLIN (AP) - The dollar slipped Monday against the euro and other major currencies as markets awaited a decision on interest rates by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
The euro bought $1.2033 in late European trading, up from $1.2030 in New York on Friday but below a session high of $1.2061. The British pound rose to $1.7483 from $1.7422.
The dollar also was lower against the Japanese currency, dropping to 116.46 yen from 117.46 yen.
