HYDERABAD, India (AP) - India's second-largest software exporter, Infosys Technologies Ltd., will set up a new software development center in the southern city of Hyderabad that will employ 25,000 people, the company said Monday.
Infosys Chairman N.R. Narayana Murthy said the company will be investing $280 million in the project.
The announcement was made after the company signed a deal with the Andhra Pradesh state government, under which the state will allot 550 acres of land for the center.
