NEW YORK (AP) - The dollar was mixed Monday against the major currencies as financial markets awaited a decision on interest rates by the Federal Reserve.
The euro bought $1.2012 in late New York trading, down from $1.2030 in New York on Friday. The British pound rose to $1.7463 from $1.7422.
The dollar also fell against the Japanese currency, dropping to 116.69 yen from 117.46 yen.
