FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Playing on a back field Monday, Miguel Tejada was singing a tune and joking with his teammates while flashing his trademark broad grin.
"He was smiling. He was happy," Baltimore Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo said. "That's a good sign."
Maybe it's because the start of the regular season is just one week away. Once Tejada takes his position at shortstop on opening day, he hopes the attention he receives will stem solely from his exploits on the field.
