 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Baltimore Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo doesn't care about his team's miserable record this spring.
"I want us to carry ourselves a little better, work at doing the things professional people do. We need to turn it up a little bit," he said Monday, a day after he was angered by an 8-0 loss to the New York Mets. "It wasn't a yell session by any stretch. It was kind of like a state of the union, what I've been seeing, kind of let them know where I'm coming from."
One week before the season opener, most of the players are eager for games that mean something, and some have found it tough to focus on exhibitions.
