SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Deron Williams had 20 points and five assists, and the Utah Jazz ended a two-game losing streak by beating the New Orleans Hornets 104-80 Monday night.
All five Utah starters scored in double figures and the Jazz pulled away with a 14-0 run in the third quarter while improving to 33-37 passing the slumping Hornets (32-37) in the Western Conference standings.
Both teams still trailed Sacramento (35-35) for the No. 8 seed in the playoffs.
