NEW YORK (AP) - After American Airlines pilot Charles Burlingame's hijacked plane struck the Pentagon on Sept. 11, his sister read everything related to the attacks even the footnotes in the official government report.
But much of the chilling testimony Monday by al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui was a revelation, Debra Burlingame said at a federal courthouse where she watched the proceedings on a special video monitor set up for families of the victims of the attacks.
"This information is all new," Burlingame said. "He's relaying incredible, incredible details which give insight into how Khalid Shaikh Mohammed was thinking, how Osama bin Laden was thinking."
