NEW YORK (AP) - The dollar fell against the euro Wednesday in late New York trading after a survey indicated that consumer confidence is rising in Germany.
The euro bought $1.2025 in afternoon New York trading, up from $1.2008 in New York late Tuesday. The British pound, however, slid to $1.7348 from $1.7437.
The dollar fell against the Japanese currency, sinking to 117.74 yen from 117.90 late Tuesday.
