Bonds Rise As Market Trims Bearish Bets

NEW YORK (AP) - Bond prices rose Wednesday, as the market scaled back bearish positions ahead of major labor data later this week.

At 5 p.m. EST, the 10-year Treasury note was up 5/32. Its yield was 4.84, down from 4.87 percent.

The 30-year bond was up 4/32. Its yield fell to 4.90 percent from 4.91 percent.
