OTTAWA (AP) - The Ottawa Senators picked a poor time to suddenly look ordinary with the playoffs coming up. Tim Connolly scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 6-2 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.
The win allowed Buffalo to get within six points of Ottawa for the Northeast Division lead. Buffalo has four games left to play while the Senators have five.
The Senators have lost three straight games for the first time all season.
