 MIAMI (AP) - Even though Brian Fuentes blew a save chance for the first time since July, the Colorado Rockies still eked out another close win on the road.
Clint Barmes drove in the go-ahead run with a 10th-inning single to overcome Fuentes' rare lapse and help Colorado beat the Florida Marlins 3-2 Friday night.
The Rockies improved to 8-3 on the road; only Detroit has a better away record. Last year the Rockies' eighth road win came on July 18.
