MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Target Corp. has a message for journalists thinking of attending its annual meeting this year: Stay out.
The nation's second-largest discount retailer usually holds its annual meeting in its home city of Minneapolis, and in recent years has allowed reporters to question executives after the meeting ended.
But this year shareholders will meet at a SuperTarget now under construction in Acworth, Ga. on May 17, when the company said the store would be nearly finished. The meeting will be broadcast on the Web.
