 ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Kevin Millwood received the kind of run support he was hoping for when he signed with the Texas Rangers. Not that he needed much help Thursday night.
Millwood pitched a four-hitter for Texas' first complete game this season, Mark Teixeira and Kevin Mench homered and the Rangers won their sixth straight with an 8-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.
"This is what I was looking for," said Millwood, who had a 9-11 record last season with Cleveland despite leading the American League with a 2.86 ERA.
