NEW YORK (AP) - PA Sport has agreed to acquire SportsTicker from ESPN, the United Kingdom-based sports information provider's first venture into North America.
Under the deal, PA SportsTicker will continue to supply real-time content to ESPN. SportsTicker is officially licensed to distribute statistics from the NFL, NBA, NHL, major league baseball and the PGA Tour.
SportsTicker general manager Jim Morganthaler will run the new operation.
