PRAGUE, Czech Republic (AP) - Martina Navratilova got a standing ovation from thousands of Czech fans despite losing her doubles match Thursday in her former homeland at the Prague Open.
Navratilova and Barbora Strycova of the Czech Republic, the top-seeded doubles team, lost to Ashley Harkleroad and Bethanie Mattek of the United States 6-4, 6-2.
It was Navratilova's second match in her former homeland since she helped the United States win the Fed Cup in 1986. In the opening round, they beat Olag Blahotova and Ahsha Rolle in straight sets.
