WASHINGTON (AP) - The best perk about the renewal of the Washington-Baltimore baseball series? As far as the Orioles are concerned, it's that they get to stay at home while playing on the road.
Some of the Orioles rode the team bus south to RFK Stadium about 35 miles from Oriole Park at Camden Yards while others braved the afternoon drive in rush hour traffic ahead of Friday night's opener against the Nationals.
It's the first time since 1971 that major league clubs from these two cities have squared off in a regular-season game.
