NEW YORK (AP) - Treasury bond prices rose modestly Monday, but had shed most of their early gains as U.S. stocks, commodity prices and emerging market debt recovered somewhat from recent steep losses.
At 5 p.m. EST, the 10-year note was up 4/32 from Friday. Its yield was 5.04 percent, down from 5.06 percent. Bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.
The 30-year bond was up 4/32. Its yield fell to 5.13 percent from 5.14 percent.
