STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Matic Omerzal fought off weariness and dropping temperatures to send top-ranked Georgia into the NCAA men's tennis final with a 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 win over Will Ward that gave the Bulldogs a 4-3 victory over Baylor on Monday.
The Bulldogs (30-0), making their 11th trip to the final, will face Pepperdine for the championship Tuesday. The second-seeded Waves (35-2) beat Texas 4-1.
In the women's tournament, top-ranked and undefeated Stanford reached the final for the seventh straight year with a 4-0 victory over No. 4 Florida. The Cardinal (29-0) will face Miami, a 4-1 winner over Southern California.
